The German company that makes these knives was founded in 1872, and remains in the same family. Many of the knives date back 75 to 100 years old. All of the knives are skilfully handmade, with each blade being ground by a master grinder.
The finely sanded cherry wood handles are shaped to fit comfortably in the hand.
This large kitchen knife is a good general purpose knife to have at hand.
